Uninteresting Scream by Honey and Dust is a stage work combining music, movement and performative theatre. The performance explores alienation, memory and the fragile history of an individual.
Through surreal imagery and personal reflection, past, present and future converge into a single, shifting experience.
The title itself-Uninteresting Scream (the fragile history of an individual)-acts as a window into the work’s central themes, exploring the loneliness of the individual in a fragmented world. Central to the story is the enigmatic Golden Runner, a symbol of life’s relentless presence within us, unbound by the constraints of time.
In the annotation, the speaker reflects:
“Dear laureates, I imagined I am truly an old man, yet the Golden Runner still runs inside me. I run out of strength, but he does not.”
